Workshop Overview
We all have a mental health and one that can cause us much distress or joy. 1 in 4 people experience mental health issues each year, 1 in 6 workers will experience depression, anxiety, or problems relating to stress and 72 million working days are lost every year, costing the UK economy £74-99 billion (MHFA statistics).
Organisations that ignore mental health are more likely to suffer sickness, absenteeism, presenteeism and low morale. In addition, prevention is better than cure and by understanding how to harness our emotional and mental health we can improve relationships, collaboration, creativity, motivation and performance.
This workshop helps leaders understand more about mental and emotional health. This is the precursor to being able to create mentally and emotionally healthy teams that are resilient and able to thrive at work. It also supports leaders in having effective and sensitive conversations with their people so that they can spot any difficulties and respond appropriately.
